According to the real estate information firm MDA DataQuick, this Hillsborough zip code had 261 sales of million dollar homes. This zip code just barely beat out the second placed 90266 in Manhattan Beach California which sold 260 such homes.

Manhattan Beach led the list in 2008, selling 296 million dollar homes, while Hillsborough was second with 274.

Overall million dollar home sales declined in the state in 2009. A total of 18,621 homes were sold for million dollars or more, while this figure was 24,436 in 2008.
